I know others have said this but your work is just so beautiful. You really do capture the characters so well and the little touches make everything so much more enchanting.

Pure beauty, I had to stop by and tell you, how much I love your art. Your are gifted and share your beautiful creations with all of us.
The attention to detail is incredible, may I ask how long do you usually takes you to create somethin like this picture?
23rd-Jul-2006 12:18 pm (UTC)
Glad you liked it! The time it takes depends on a lot of factors but it usually takes a day to do the concept sketch and several days to paint it, depending on the medium.

Matey, I just paint what people pay me to paint. ;~) I can't help it if they're a bunch of desperates and insist on getting me to paint 'teh pron'. *cackles*
Glad you enjoyed this one though. :~)

I just looked through some of your art, and it's all absolutely breathtaking. And lots of Ron/Hermione, my canon ship :D

Although I guess there's no way you'd ever do Hermione/Severus... your skills and my most favoritest pairing would just probably render me speechless, but alas.

I'm friending you, though, just to see more of the pretty :D

Great to hear you're enjoying my art. And actually I have a Hermione/Severus commission I will be working on very soon. Something for you to look forward to mayhap? ;~)

Gorgeous! I especially love the background -- you can almost feel the snow! Is there any chance for a close-up of the little bird on the branch? It looks like such a nice little detail. :-)

God, I always love your art.

My only comment is that your colors always seem a little washed out to me. It does give them a nice, soft quality, but I'd like to see the colors stand out more, sometimes. Not necessarily in this piece (since it needs that wintry/frosty look to it), but...
4th-Jul-2006 11:09 pm (UTC)
An interesting comment. Thanks. :~) All my copic work seems to have that soft, watercolour look to it. Do you find my digital art as washed out? Cos they always seem much brighter to me.
