This painting was done with Copic markers, pastels and gouache, and it is one of those 'wonderful' pieces that just doesn't reproduce. The colours in the scan look garish (pink!) and lighter in the shadow areas compared to the original, and completely foiled my attempts at colour-correction. *frustration!* Although I was trying to do it at midnight, so that probably didn't help...
Nevertheless, even if I spent all day on it, I'm sure it would never match the original anyway. So meh. That's the joy of owning original art; only you
get to see it as it really is. ;~) Oh, and like the first in this series, there are details on Hermione's dress which the scanner just doesn't see. *glee*
